It joins the Vltava in Prague \u2013 Sedlec, where C\u00edsa\u0159sk\u00fd Island ends. The Litovick\u00fd\u2013\u0160\u00e1reck\u00fd stream first flows through a chain of ponds (Litovick\u00fd, Kala, B\u0159ve, Strnad) and, beyond the Prague boundary, through the Jiviny retention reservoir. Below the Ruzyn\u011b prison the stream is culverted for about one kilometre. A large part of the course runs through the \u0160\u00e1rka Valley, where the stream is cut into hard lydite rock. Two water structures have been built on the watercourse: in the Prague\u2013Ruzyn\u011b cadastral area the Jiviny reservoir, which serves as a retention reservoir, and, just before the stream enters the \u0160\u00e1rka Valley, the D\u017eb\u00e1n reservoir, which mainly serves recreational purposes.
