Rokytka

The Rokytka stream rises south-east of Říčany in the Říčany forest, between the villages of Tehov and Tehovec, at an altitude of 453 m. It joins the Vltava in the Praha – Libeň city district at an altitude of 185 m. It flows through the Central Bohemian Region, entering Prague near the village of Nedvězí u Říčan and continuing through the cadastral areas of Královice, Hájek u Uhříněvsi, Koloděje, Běchovice, Dolní Počernice, Hostavice, Kyje, Hloubětín, Hrdlořezy, Vysočany and Libeň. The catchment area down to the Kyjský rybník reservoir profile covers 115.3 km². The most important water structure on the Rokytka is the Čihadla reservoir, a dry polder. The crest of its spillway is at an elevation of 219.27 m above sea level. The volume of water retained up to the spillway crest is 345,214 m³.

The catchment above the Kyje reservoir is fitted with 5 water-level gauging stations: Říčany C1, Říčany C2, Nedvězí, Kolovraty 1 and Kolovraty 2. A further gauging station lies below Kyjský rybník, directly downstream of the reservoir. The last station on the Rokytka is in Vysočany — the Praha-Vysočany station.
